National Office for Research and Technology Mobility scheme: A unique possibility for S&T cooperation open to all ASEAN countries

The National Office for Research and Technology (NKTH) wishes to improve communication and co-operation between researchers in Hungary and researchers in other countries, and further help them to establish joint projects. NKTH supports the mobility of researchers from Hungary and any other country which Hungary does not have an official Intergovernmental Scientific and Technological Agreement, through the following mobility scheme, which is running from 2008 through to 2010. The following scheme invites researchers to submit proposals in response to calls and is open to applicants from South East Asian countries.

Who can apply?

  • Research institutions and educational institutions
  • Companies / SMEs
  • Not for profit organisations
  • Anyone who wants to co-operate in the field of natural, medical, agricultural or technological sciences.

Objectives and priorities of the call

  • To support the development of high quality science and technology innovation centres in universities through bilateral S&T co-operation.
  • To support the international co-operation of these centres in the hope of facilitating subsequent major co-operations.
  • To promote professional development and the access to international S&T networks for researchers.
  • To foster deep-rooted connections between publicly funded research institutes and the private sector, as well as maximise the participation of SMEs in bilateral S&T co-operations.
